Hi Guys,
We have another diecast review. Today's post is another Limited edition Minichamps 1/43 scale model. You either love him or you hate him. He is Formula1's most successful driver with 91 wins and 7 world championships, it's Michael Schumacher and this model is his last race in Brazil 2012.
2012 Brazilian GP.
Michael Schumacher qualified 14th for the Brazilian GP, his teammate Nico Rosberg qualified 10th. The wet weather conditions threw up a brilliant race with Force India battling the McLarens. Fellow German Sebastian Vettel fighting his way through the field to claim his third world title and an extremely close battle between Marussia and Caterham for 10th in the constructors.
Michael Schumacher would finish his final GP in 7th place. Which was the number of his car. He finished behind the three-time world champion Vettel and Hulkenberg.
The results meant that Vettel won the championship by just 3 points over Fernando Alonso.
Schumacher's 2012 season.
Schumacher made his F1 return in 2010 with the newly formed Mercedes team. He was partnered with Nico Rosberg for the three years. The 2012 season wasn't Schumachers most successful. Scoring in just 8 races and retiring in 7. However there were some good times. Schumacher scoring his final podium in European GP as well as his final pole in Monaco and starting his 300th GP at the race he started his career with Jordan, which you can also get as a Minichamps model. Schumacher scored 49 points and finished 13th in the WDC.

My Thoughts.
It's great to see so many varieties of the same car because they rarely stay the same for more than a handful of races. For 2012 alone you can get 6 1/43 scale Schumacher cars. 4 are limited editions. (Showcar, Monaco Pole, European Podium and this car) Each car has it's own unique details. This one has a nice sticker on the side saying "Thank You Goodbye Michael", a touching tribute to a man who has given so much to the sport.Schumacher is a legend in his own right and hopefully his win tally and his records will stand for sometime. Vettel and Hamilton seem to be the only ones capable of challenging in the current grid.
If you're a Mercedes fan or a Schumi fan then this car is definitely for you as it's his final GP and it looks fantastic.
You can BUY from MCSLOTS eBay.
